The spiral of script is the most technically difficult print in the collection: over two thousand individual characters, each one set by hand in the artwork file and verified letterform by letterform so the text reads correctly from the centre outward. On midnight ground the gold reads almost as embroidery. It is the piece our clients most often buy in pairs.
